For this project I wrote Arduino programs to make things (like the stairs and hobs) into MIDI instruments. I created Max for Live devices to send audio and MIDI data to a lighting controller (over OSC) and wrote an openFrameworks application to map incoming OSC to lighting. In the process I extended ofxGui to be MIDI learn-able and to assign OSC messages to any exposed parameter at runtime.
